Jim O'Brien being sworn in as new member of Spalding Elections Board.

The school lunch handout help on Tuesday went well.  A photo (attached) of our team at City Park was on the front page of today's Griffin Daily News.  Those of our group in the picture are Ken and Mimi Young, Carol Adame and Janis Nelson.  All in all we had 15 volunteers take part and there were no reported problems.  We all were issued surgical gloves and masks and handed out bags of food and a carton of milk to those that drove by or walked up.   Most of the children we gave bags to were walk ups from the neighborhood.  Our thanks also to Spalding County Parks Dept. for also providing staff to assist in set up and just being there.  It was a "feel good" experience for all of us.
